Tahitian Princess and Pacific Princess are two vessels in Pricess fleet that represents very popular class of smaller ships with intimate atmosphere sailing to exotic destinations. Therefore third addition in this line comes as no surprise. Princess cruises announced newest addition in fleet named Royal Princess by beloved Princess ship which had long been cruising in Europe and other exotic worldwide destinations. New vessel will enter the service in spring 2007.

Princess Cruises, Tahitian PrincessOriginally sailed from 2001 as a Renaissance vessel, this ship is currently cruising as Swan Hellenic's Minerva II. It will join Princess fleet after a two week dry dock where detailed interior modifications will be done. This will include well known Princess hallmarks such as large number of cabins with private balconies, variety of dining experiences such in Lido café or alternative restaurants.

Princess officials believe that company's smaller ships represents nicely complement its fleet of larger vessels providing passengers with exotic itineraries and offering "boutique version" of the company's Personal Choice Cruising program.

First itineraries will be Mediterranean , Holy Land and Black Sea , details will arrive soon.

This 30,000 tons ship will accommodate about 680 passengers.

In 2007 when Royal Princess arrive Princess Cruises fleet average ship age will be just under six years.
